Currently
numbers of agent platforms are available for agent based applications
but almost all of them are too heavy and cannot be used for
resource constrained devices. Main reason for this that they
all have been developed according to the FIPA old specifications
and later the same platforms were updated according to the
new FIPA specification (2000), which resulted in lots of unused classes
and resource hungry agent platform.
Aims
And Objectives
In
this project our aim is to develop a lightweight agent platform
according to new FIPA specifications, so that this platform
later could be used for resource constraint devices like mobile
phones and PDAs.
Architecture
Current Status
The design phase
has been completed and implementation of individual components
is in progress. Presentations and other documentation of
